This notice explains what happens to your information when you use The Hire Handbook at hire-co.uk.

What we collect

We don't ask you to create an account, we don't run a mailing list, and this site doesn't set cookies or use advertising or visitor-tracking tags. Our web server keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, so that we can keep the site secure and working.

If you email us

We use your name, email address and message to reply to you, because we have a legitimate interest in answering. We keep it only for as long as we need to deal with your message.

Links to other websites

Our guides link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy notices, and we aren't responsible for how they use your information.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing editor@hire-co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the ICO, the UK's data protection regulator.
